a little about the person behind the stories

Hello and welcome, my lovely fairies.

I’m Kev, the woman behind fairyprinceling, and I would love to tell you a little about me and my passion for storytelling.

I was born in 1995 in Germany as the first child and only daughter of Turkish immigrants.
Between daydreaming, reading and watching Avatar: The Last Airbender, I managed to get a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and German and am currently on my way to become a teacher.

I’m a strong believer of fate and the right time, which is why I take every day and every challenge as it is and dwell in its melancholy a bit too much.

Everything I started and eventually conquered took a lot of time and effort and though it might’ve been very hard at times, it truly gave me the gift of romance and empathy - two strong essentials that helped me create intense and immersive worlds in my head that I finally want to share with others.

During these past years I never stopped reading again like I did before 2020.
I always found my way back to hidden worlds and forgotten romances and in between it all, I missed it again.

To be with readers, to exchange happiness and grief for characters. To swap ideas and giggle about a single line.

On my last vacation I finally read Tempting Venom by Rina Kent and I felt the same spark I felt when I was locked up in my room and fell into the Rineverse for the first time.

When I was surrounded by likeminded hearts, who just loved to escape into stories no matter how grand or complex they were.

It was about fun and especially letting go.

And so I decided to go for it again, but this time, I’d reach for the stars.

And because it all started with Rina, it was only fair to take the nickname of the character that revoked the passion I’ve missed for a long while.

Including the gratitude I feel towards Rina’s effect on my life,
I’ve become fairyprinceling.

When Corona started shaking the world in 2020 und locked us up in our rooms, we either explored new hobbies or delved into the ones we forgot.
That’s what happened to me.
I loved reading since I could remember. My parents were busy feeding me books and magazines because I could never get enough.

In elementary school my first grade teacher told my father that someday I would write stories.
It’s one of my fondest memories.

Growing up has been challenging for me.
Between mental health and trying to getting everything right, I forgot what I loved most:
Books.

Books, romance and fantasy.

So Corona gave me the opportunity to sit back and remember what I loved and what I missed.
And during that time I was introduced to the Rinaverse and the endless conflicting characters she created. But besides that - she introduced me to a new world of booklovers and readers.

That’s when I created daintylotusflower - based on the nickname of one of my favorite characters that was part of the Rinaverse.
And suddenly, I was little again, in my room with all the books and stories in my head and I had this innate urge to share it with everyone.

And so I did.

But with time, life changed and new challenges came along my way and daintylotusflower was not me anymore. I didn’t write because I wanted to but because I was expected to and that was not what I wanted.

And so, without wanting to, I abandoned my account and only came back with half-hearted stories and one shots. With the Rinaverse unofficially ending, I closed that chapter.

I write about the what-if’s and in-between’s like I did before. But we are going further with fairyprinceling.

This website is about fun, exchange and expression. You will find your favorite authors here, so I will not limit myself to one universe only anymore.
Furthermore I will experiment with own creations, with other well-known characters or my own.
And I will make my first attempts into original stories and share with you the endless worlds that I have been building in my mind.

fairyprinceling doesn't stagnate anymore but goes to far away’s and beyond’s.

And if you want to join I’m more than happy to share this journey with you.

What you won’t find here

I’m very critical and precise when it comes to my writing.
As well as hugely protective and proud.

Therefore, I want to emphasize that my stories are created by me and me only.
I am very transparent and honest and always mention when I use ideas, requests or characters from others - this is a given when I write one shots and fan fictions based on other authors stories or requests from readers.

But I want one thing to be clear:
I am not using ai or other authors to write my stories and plots.

Ai is helping me solely with the building of my website, with aesthetics ideas and exchanges as well as pictures I generate using my own face, as I don’t want to use others arts and people without their permission.
Ai is also helping with my grammar and spelling, as I am not a native English speaker but it is not writing my stories and it sure as hell is not the brain behind all my plots.

I am open for any ideas or artists who want to give me tips or a helping hand to reduce the usage of ai.
